The Story

These days mostly everything I wear is from Crossroads and/or blue. Today's look marks the spot with a little bit of both, plus my trusty Charlotte Russe skirt which I nearly didn't purchase and would have forever regretted the decision.

For about $10, this baby has gotten me through an entire summer of hot weather but too lazy to shave moments (or just the usual hot weather but work appropriate ones). A very beautiful and versatile item indeed. In a couple of weeks I will be heading back to school where I'm sure it will continue to prove very useful.

Speaking of back to school, the thought of leaving Los Angeles is breaking my heart slowly but surely, but hopefully that'll result in a lot of energy transferred to blogging and other passions that I've been setting aside because I've been enjoying the heck out of real life these past few months.

Fingers crossed.

Thank you for stopping by!

The Story

The first thing my roommate said when I walked out of the fitting room wearing this dress was "If I was a guy, I'd totally take you out." Her reaction seemed incredibly sincere, so I was (and continue to be) pretty sold. Simplicity will always be my number one choice, and this dress lets me bask in plenty of it (while feeling fresh in the raging hot weather).

This dress is perfection because it's just so easy to switch up its vibe. For this look, some traditional Romanian jewelry and gorgeous long earrings are everything I need.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

The Story

Around the beginning of high school, I bought this deep red hoodie with some Michael Jackson-esque shoulder details (see here). My mother swore that I would never wear it, but oh how wrong she was! Because you see, I have a fatal attraction to tacky sweaters- particularly, the ones that go just a wee bit over the top in shoulder detailing.

Enter this gem of a cardi that I found during work at Crossroads Trading Co. I stole so many glances until I finally gave in and purchased it, and I haven't looked back. There are very few things in life that bring me as much joy as tacky rhinestones on a chunky cardigan. What are some of your weird fashion obsessions?

You know that feeling when you get home after being gone for 10 hours and you just collapse on a bed and binge-watch half a season of One Tree Hill even though by season 8 it's so overdramatic that you're kind of over it?

Yup, me either. Well, then shoot me an email so we can discuss.

In all seriousness, I've just been getting by and enjoying the small wonders of the world, like daily helpings of artisanal ice cream and whenever the number of crazies on the metro happens to be low. Sadly this routine included work days or hella lazy days, so blogging hasn't been a thing. Actually, I don't even think I've opened my laptop for the past week.

But here's a new, long overdue post. These photos are a couple of weeks old and were taken right before I went into work one morning. This crop top is one of the best purchases I've made all summer- because it's part of a lovely two-piece with matching shorts, and it's summery and fits perfectly. I've been looking for the perfect co-ord set since last summer, so finally being able to find it was one of my prouder shopping moments.

Have a great night, everyone!
