Happy holidays, pretty people! I almost fell off the blog post wagon today, but my lovely mom managed to snap a few pictures of my last minute Christmas shopping outfit, which I love! I'm currently spending winter break at my parents' place in Texas and basking in some lovely shopping adventures in places that I can only dream of in New Mexico (e.g. H&M, Zara, etc.).
Actually, today ended up being more of a DSW/Old Navy day. Noticed the super cute red flats I'm wearing? One of Old Navy's finest. Retailing at around $22, they're pretty inexpensive as it is- but who am I to say no to a 40% discount? Of course I had to get a black pair, too! I'm planning on spending my summer shamelessly riding the Los Angeles metro buses, so I'm on a mission to acquire as many cute and comfy pairs of work/internship appropriate shoes as possible. These get my absolute vote of confidence!

We're one blog post away from Christmas and I couldn't be happier. For once, I have yet to snoop around/get any sort of hints about what Santa's got in store, so it's going to be an exciting time!

I hope you're all having a cheerful, festive time! Thank you so much for stopping by!

I am semi-concerned with the amount of stuff from my mother's closet that I am interested in. Took her bag, took her peplum, took the new cardigan she just bought at JC Penney for $1.97 (!!!)- but that's going to be in a different post. So, does that mean I dress like a 40-something year old or is it my mother dressing like a 20-something year old? Either way, I appreciate the option to basically double up my closet for free!

Today's (actually, not going to lie, last week's) outfit was the perfect walk in the park combination. The weather has been a bit tricky, switching on and off between sunshine and rain + hot and cold, so it didn't hurt to be prepared. The entire outfit is centered around my beautiful new jewelry set, a belated 2-year anniversary present from my boyfriend. I swear he could open up a jewelry business! This is the second handmade set he's given me, and I'm incredibly excited to find new ways to incorporate it into my daily looks, just as I have with the previous set (which can be seen hereherehere, and here). So versatile, right?

This set in particular I absolutely adore because of the various tricks up its sleeves! The necklace spells out Aidan on one side, and Ada on the other in little letter blocks that unite in the middle with a heart. The set also contains shoe charms and pigeon charms, the pigeon being a representation of my childhood in my Romanian hometown. SO ADORABLE!

As usual, thank you so much for stopping by! :)

A few days ago, my boyfriend and I went on the greatest date in Santa Fe! For the first time, we finally tried a local French place which everyone has been raving about, and let's just say, loads of Croque Madame, crepes, and macaroons entered our bellies. We roamed around the streets for a while in search of the perfect photo op, but it was beyond cold. We took shelter inside of the St. Francis Cathedral, which I had surprisingly never entered. It was a beautiful day, ending with a lovely/awkward family dinner, because I will honestly be forever awkward around my boyfriend's parents- even though they're possibly the sweetest people on this planet.

Though I put on the most winter friendly coat I own, New Mexico's near polar vortex hit me way more than expected. My trusty coat put up a strong fight, but it was no match for the wild winds of northern NM. I suppose it's time to take cover and hibernate until March.

Thank you so much for stopping by :)
