Coming 'atcha again with a quickie post. I've been trying to motivate and have this up for the past month, but time and time again more pressing things happen.

I want to be here, cultivating my little corner of the internet again, but words are difficult for me at the moment.

A lunch quickie...

...and a post quickie, because I've been dying to share this look on the blog. This Aldo bag steals my heart time and time again - and I finally put together a look that really does it justice. Normally I'd wear tennis shoes and my baggy army jacket for brunch (b/c food baby), but spring did a number on me.

My Take on Streetstyle.

This jacket photographs even better than it looks - but the angsty teenage girl I saw in H&M the other day would not agree. 

Right as I decided this jacket and I would live happily ever after, the following conversation happened right by my side: 

-MOTHER: How about this jacket? *touches jacket in same color as mine*

-ANGSTY LA TEEN: Ewww that's so gross.

I guess I'm not scoring any fashion points with the city's youth- but to everyone that's ever dealt with strangers' backhanded comments: you do you. Life's too short to worry about anyone else's opinion but your own.
