Hello, friends!

I haven't been really proactive in my outfit picture-taking quest, as most of my wardrobe is in Texas now and all I'm left with is a carry-on. But, not to worry! Soon enough I will be in possession of some pretty beachy outfit pictures and, of course, I will be sharing. By soon enough, I mean in like two weeks.

I just realized how long that sounds! Since summer started, I've been good about posting three times a week, and have enjoyed every second of that, but in one day, I'll be off to do some beach bumming and internet ignoring in Mexico with my boyfriend and his family. I apologize in advance for the lack of posts, but I'll be returning full force on the 2nd of July.

Now, about this outfit- first of all, $2 cardigan alert!!! This baby was purchased by my mom at JC Penney's for next to nothing about a month ago, and naturally, I had to steal. How adorable is the color block on it?!? Secondly, this outfit was shot a while ago, but I just found it going through my camera and it made me super happy! The feather earrings and cardi is one of my favorite combinations and I'm glad to be able to share it on here.

Thanks for stopping by, and see you in a couple of weeks!

Going through my closet, I've discovered a bunch of gems that I haven't worn in the longest time. One such gem is this Bershka dress, which I believe was a gift from my cousin. I love the summery flower print, and, of course, the fact that it's loose in all the right places (aka all the places that are likely to get sweaty during the summerpocalypse).

In other news, can we please all take a second to admire this adorable jewelry set? Anyone living in Las Cruces, NM and not taking advantage of the costume jewelry wonderland that is Jewelry Box in the mall is missing out on some mad cute jewelry bragging rights. This set is part of their more expensive endeavors (probably about $8 for necklace + earrings), but they have some really cute things for as little as $1!

When it comes to this treasure of a shop, my mom put it best: "Out of all the places I've been, I have never seen a store like this. Buy it all while you still can!"

Don't worry, mom, I'm working on it!

Thank you for stopping by!

Hi there! Today's outfit post is just going to be really short and sweet. After helping my parents pack their moving truck from 9 a.m. till about 4 p.m., I am exhausted beyond reasonable doubt. Carrying boxes constantly from the 2nd floor for many hours straight is definitely as athletic as I've gotten all summer, and that's sad. Therefore, I'm going to be changing my game up pretty soon.

Once June is over and I'm all cozy in our new Texas home, I'll be restarting the healthy habits that I seemed to have abandoned this past semester. Not being depressed anymore was a great start towards getting my crap together, but now it's time to focus on getting as healthy as I can before school starts up again. It only takes a month to form a healthy habit, so once it's there, it'll hopefully remain throughout the school year.

Well, I guess my post wasn't so short and sweet after all. Alas, my aching muscles demand rest, and I will happily oblige.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Holy crap, northern New Mexico is getting HOT! And I mean hot to the point where even short sleeves will have you buried under a mountain of sweat. Under the circumstances, what's a girl to do besides gather the breeziest fabrics in her closet and pile them on? (This particular girl should probably interact with some tanning lotion, but that's a different story.)

I believe the star of this super basic outfit is my Bella Jack charm bracelet, purchased at TJ Maxx. This was one of those purchases that I'm proud to say wasn't an impulse. I saw it a few days before I actually bought it, and the reason I decided to cash out on this pretty thing was the fact that it started running through my mind the moment I first laid eyes on it. I'm a huge sucker for anything nautical- anchors, stripes, navy, seashells, you name it, I'm on board with it.

I'm pumped for this new weather change, as it allows me to finally parade all my cute summer clothes around :)

Thank you for stopping by!

Hi, everyone!

I wore this outfit to the movies last week, and it just shouted 'SUMMER' from the moment I put it on! I haven't worn these cute necklaces in ages, and was so surprised to see that they went together with my adorable earrings (courtesy of boyfriend) so well! All the necklaces are missing is the orange, but oh well- you can't really notice it.

This entire look just made me feel like a jolly good walking fiesta, not to mention the jeans are really flattering in the backside area. Basically, an outfit full of wins.

Thank you so much for stopping by! :)

P.S. The out-of-focus look? Totally intentional. Not my little brother being silly and a bit blind. Nope. Not at all.

Hi, everyone! Today's post is just a quick outfit I wore the other day. I'm super excited for the crop top, which is part of a Buffalo Exchange high-low dress that I repurposed into a top + skirt. The length of it was the most exciting part, as it's a more daring cut than what I'm used to, but I think/hope I managed to put this look together without looking trashy.

I can't believe I managed to wear this cardigan yet again in a versatile look- it's the one I purchased from a street vendor at my university in California with the intention of wearing it once, but I've gotten so much use out of it already! It blows my mind that something so print heavy can be reused in so many different scenarios!

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Oh, the butterfly shirt! I've had plenty of issues in the past with this top (mainly because the colors reminded me of Halloween a bit too much), but I didn't want to give it away as it was part of my high school graduation present from my mom (yup, it's pretty old). Of all the meh-ish things I own, this is probably the one shirt I would have never expected to warm up to, but it's quite a nice color and fit. Loved the combination with my OP jeans from Walmart, of all places. These are pretty old as well. My dad got them for about $3 back in the day when Walmart wasn't considering itself a higher end retailer and matching its prices with the mall.

Aaaaanyway, just wanted to share my summery but somewhat Halloween-reminding look with all of you. As usual, I'm super duper grateful you decided to stop by!

Greetings, friends! These past few days have been filled with summery weather and rainbows and smiles and stuff, so in honor of plenty o'happy moments, I've decided to go the pastel route for this outfit. While I was still in school, my grandma sent over a package from Romania containing two traditional Romanian blouses (called 'ie') and I finally found the perfect day to wear one of them! The super extra traditional one (the one I'm not currently wearing) is long sleeved and white with red embroidery and I'm so excited to share it with you all soon-ish. I've always wanted an ie, but the authentic ones cost a fortune. Luckily, I have a grandmother that loves me a lot.

The one that I'm currently wearing is perfect for spring/summer- both in color and composition. The material is flowy and doesn't allow for sweat buildup. Perfect for those hot summer days! I also feel like I'm representing my Eastern European roots on-the-go, and I just love having my ie as an ice-breaker. Go ahead, ask me about my culture. I will gladly go ON and ON about it!

In completely unrelated news, on the 31st I went to see OneRepublic and The Script live for the Native Summer Tour and I just NEED to talk about it. You guys, leaving aside the fact that I've been infatuated with OneRepublic ever since Apologize came out back in 2006... if you need a good, entertaining night out, just go to this concert. Both bands were so insanely good, and they're the type of artists you KNOW want to be there on stage for the experience, not just for the money. The Script were really entertaining and energetic, and there was such a positive energy surrounding their performance. It was just so obvious that they cared about their fans and were really grateful to be performing up on that stage. And of course, their music was really great too!

And OneRepublic...gosh, where do I even begin?!? Their show was brilliant! The effects, the vocals, the song choices, the transitions, everything! Just remembering it gives me goosebumps. Ryan Tedder's range is out of this world, and all the guys are badass at many many instruments. As my boyfriend put it, each one of them could do really well as a solo act, and the fact that they're playing together makes the combination even more amazing. I just... no words. NO WORDS. I should probably stop now, because I could go on about them forever. Basically, my mind was blown, and as a band, they are so deserving of all the fans they've acquired throughout the years. I leave you with a picture from the best day of my life:

Thank you for stopping by, and go see OneRepublic! I promise you will not regret it! :)
