Hello, friends! Welcome to part 2 of Ada tries to do winter weather and ends up being severely under-dressed for the occasion. I'm not sure in what world I found a denim jacket to be appropriate for the under 55 Farenheit weather, but at least it looked cool with the red jeans, amIrite?

I got this beauty on one of my $5 big brown bag thrifting adventures, which probably means its individual cost came to about 50 cents or less. I'm so happy to give it some screen time finally!

Ever since college started, I've gotten stuck in this sweatshirt/sweatpants/comfy crap rut (Especially mid-semester, when everything gets really busy. That is a sight to avoid!), but lately I've been making a conscious decision to show more of my purchases some love. And of course, there's the New Year's Resolution: less purchases, more cost-per-wear!

Lastly: this backpack is from Walmart, of all places. My mind is blown.

Double lastly: can we just take a moment to appreciate the beautiful location, though?!? I wore this out on winter break in Boerne, and, although the place was a bit seasonally confused (all of the fall colors in late December!), it was nothing short of gorgeous!

Thank you for stopping by!

Hi, everyone! Today's post is just a quick outfit I wore the other day. I'm super excited for the crop top, which is part of a Buffalo Exchange high-low dress that I repurposed into a top + skirt. The length of it was the most exciting part, as it's a more daring cut than what I'm used to, but I think/hope I managed to put this look together without looking trashy.

I can't believe I managed to wear this cardigan yet again in a versatile look- it's the one I purchased from a street vendor at my university in California with the intention of wearing it once, but I've gotten so much use out of it already! It blows my mind that something so print heavy can be reused in so many different scenarios!

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Well, it's definitely been a while since I've come around these parts of the internet, and I'm beyond glad to be back! These past few weeks have been incredibly stressful, with finals, and the thought of having to go back home for an entire month, and just a whole bunch of stuff, including a lack of motivation to dress as I normally would. Sadly, I can now say I am a college student. I have entered the sweatshirt/pajama pants/sweatpants community. I promise I still try to make it look fashionable, but it has definitely been a bit scary for me. No matter though! I am now back, and, with a month-long winter break ahead of me, you are definitely going to be seeing a lot more of this girl around the blogosphere :)

Today was my second day back, and I went shopping with my parents. The outcome was severely disappointing, as I only purchased one item (sequin skirt for about $5 at Wet Seal...I'd call it a good deal, yes), but there's bound to be more shopping trips throughout the month, so I'm not too worried.

Meanwhile, I leave you with my first winter outfit in ages! I purchased this faux fur leopard print jacket last year for about $10 at Rue 21, and it has always seemed a bit too daring for my taste. Today, however, I took a chance and decided to keep everything else relatively neutral. I still wanted a pop of color, present here in the form of my newly purchased Charlotte Russe cowboy booties (Cyber Monday steal!!!). Overall, I'm pretty happy with the way this look turned out. It was comfy and cozy and great for the cold weather without being too puffy.

Stay tuned! There will definitely be more to come soon :)

Thank you for stopping by!
