If I had a dollar for every time I've purchased amazing shoes from Plato's Closet, I'd probably be able to purchase even more amazing shoes. I've probably went on a mini Plato's Closet rant on different occasions, but I need to reiterate: 'tis the place to shop at.
Another awesome place to shop at? Old Navy. Especially for jeans. Let's just take a moment to love on the perfect boyfriend jeans, that basically feel like PJ's but look put together enough that you wouldn't get judged for wearing them to Walmart, or anywhere else for that matter. Along with the boyfriends, the Rockstar skinny jeans are worth looking into- my favorite affordable jeans ever!

And how about we go 3 for 3 tonight and I tell you guys about one last awesome place to shop at? Okay? Okay. Sole Society it is! This bag was my first purchase with them, but I will definitely be returning to the website- quality product and quality service are my type of deal!

Hello, friends! Welcome to part 2 of Ada tries to do winter weather and ends up being severely under-dressed for the occasion. I'm not sure in what world I found a denim jacket to be appropriate for the under 55 Farenheit weather, but at least it looked cool with the red jeans, amIrite?

I got this beauty on one of my $5 big brown bag thrifting adventures, which probably means its individual cost came to about 50 cents or less. I'm so happy to give it some screen time finally!

Ever since college started, I've gotten stuck in this sweatshirt/sweatpants/comfy crap rut (Especially mid-semester, when everything gets really busy. That is a sight to avoid!), but lately I've been making a conscious decision to show more of my purchases some love. And of course, there's the New Year's Resolution: less purchases, more cost-per-wear!

Lastly: this backpack is from Walmart, of all places. My mind is blown.

Double lastly: can we just take a moment to appreciate the beautiful location, though?!? I wore this out on winter break in Boerne, and, although the place was a bit seasonally confused (all of the fall colors in late December!), it was nothing short of gorgeous!

Thank you for stopping by!

Hello, everyone! Normally I'd be a woman of many words, but I'm having too much fun cuddling and exploring with my boyfriend, who's visiting for the week! We explored a bit of downtown Boerne, TX last night, which is where these photos were taken, Such a cute little small town!

As for the outfit, I guess you could consider this to be a part of the 'thrifted' series. I've been obsessively relying on my mall clothes lately, in an effort to better fit into the college environment, I suppose. Coming home has forced me to go back to my garage sale and thrift shop roots, and I've been enjoying it quite immensely.

Outfit: Slouchy Sweatshirt + Body-Con Skirt.

I've been incredibly sick these past few days, so I guess you could say slouch is my middle name. Since Thursday I got this new burst of energy- the type you get once you feel better after being sick and you feel like you can take over the world and such- I decided to semi-dress up. For comfort purposes I stuck with the slouchy look, but I wanted to feel a bit less repulsive so I opted for a pretty skirt and tights. Overall I was incredibly satisfied with the result. I felt girly, but not show off-ish.

I could go on entire rants about fashion in college and the way some girls just overdo it. My Fundamentals of Fashion professor goes on entire rants about it and it's absolutely hilarious. Don't get me wrong, I love my glitter and heels just like every other girl, but walking a college campus in stilettos just seems a wee bit exaggerated in my world. Though stilettos in high school were completely socially acceptable, or at least I pretended they were :)
