Hello, everyone! Normally I'd be a woman of many words, but I'm having too much fun cuddling and exploring with my boyfriend, who's visiting for the week! We explored a bit of downtown Boerne, TX last night, which is where these photos were taken, Such a cute little small town!

As for the outfit, I guess you could consider this to be a part of the 'thrifted' series. I've been obsessively relying on my mall clothes lately, in an effort to better fit into the college environment, I suppose. Coming home has forced me to go back to my garage sale and thrift shop roots, and I've been enjoying it quite immensely.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Can I just say I HAVE BEEN WAITING TO SHOW OFF THIS NECKLACE FOR THE LONGEST TIME?!? And by longest time, I mean at least 2 years! I bought it on clearance while on vacation in Romania, and it was incredibly cheap considering prices there- definitely under $10. As someone who's really into the nautical theme, this necklace is a winner- the rope, the colors and textures, the everything. I'm excited to style it with loose white tops and cute maxi dresses!

With such an attention-grabbing piece, it was only natural to mellow out the earrings, as I didn't want them competing. The bag size and minimal sandals feel appropriate, not overwhelming. I tied the t-shirt at the middle to get use out of it as a crop top without actually cropping it. It's so adorable, versatile, and comfy!

Thank you so much for stopping by!

To jump right into this post- I don't believe the pictures do this look justice. It's just so quintessentially off-duty and casual, and so misrepresented by the background and color choices, and I'm actually pretty upset by that. Alas, I wanted to share it with everybody, so here it is.

Being home for summer is a bit of a drag because there's nothing to dress up for. I come from the land of socks and sandals and Starbucks as the main town attraction, so you can only imagine. I actually dragged myself out of the house today and had somewhat of a social life (partially at Starbucks, of course), so what better way to approach small town social gatherings than with comfy sneakers and basically the comfiest, most perfect thrifted T-shirt ever? (Thanks mom!)

Speaking of thanking mothers, if you've been following my impure thoughts about my mother's bag rants, you will be pleased to know that they are now a thing of the past because.... I've defeated the matriarchy. I am now the proud owner of best oversize basic bag ever! I'll (legally) drink to that!

Thank you for stopping by!

Greetings, everybody! Following a semester of death, I'm finally able to post again, and have plenty a dreams for the future of my little corner of the internet. I'm looking forward to my new found free time, and the possibility of posting 3x/wk. in the near future. Working on the blog has become something so near and dear to my heart, and I'm going to continue full force with my newfound passion.

This first outfit post is just a basic comfy look that I put together quickly to go outside and film my little brother (he's really into movie making now). I've been giving these leggings plenty of love lately, and will probably continue to do so until the weather allows me to drown in pretty florals and summery dresses. I'm beyond excited for what is to come this summer! Stay tuned!

Thank you for stopping by!

Outfit: Fluffy Winter Coat and Boots.

Confused about my seemingly unreasonable outfit choice for an obviously sunny day? Oh, so was I when it magically started snowing lightly one morning during spring break. Northern New Mexico weather is definitely a force to be reckoned with. It's no polar vortex, but if you come up north dreaming of (365) days of summer, good luck with that one!

On the bright side, the weather really does keep you on your toes- one day it's spaghetti strap time, and the next, it feels like Christmas season all over again. I enjoyed donning this outfit because I hadn't gotten many chances to show off my new Aeropostale coat, which I got for $5 (!!!) on sale.

Aeropostale is definitely one of those stores that stepped their game up these past few years. From the Bethany Mota collection, to the Pretty Little Liars collection, and all the new colorful workout gear, Aeropostale has a lot to offer at budget-friendly prices. I found this particular jacket in the sales rack, marked at $15 (which would have been an amazing deal in itself). Imagine my surprise (and delight) when I only had to cash out $5! So excited to go back and purchase more cuteness from them!

Thank you for stopping by :)
