Hi there! Today's outfit post is just going to be really short and sweet. After helping my parents pack their moving truck from 9 a.m. till about 4 p.m., I am exhausted beyond reasonable doubt. Carrying boxes constantly from the 2nd floor for many hours straight is definitely as athletic as I've gotten all summer, and that's sad. Therefore, I'm going to be changing my game up pretty soon.

Once June is over and I'm all cozy in our new Texas home, I'll be restarting the healthy habits that I seemed to have abandoned this past semester. Not being depressed anymore was a great start towards getting my crap together, but now it's time to focus on getting as healthy as I can before school starts up again. It only takes a month to form a healthy habit, so once it's there, it'll hopefully remain throughout the school year.

Well, I guess my post wasn't so short and sweet after all. Alas, my aching muscles demand rest, and I will happily oblige.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Greetings, everybody! Following a semester of death, I'm finally able to post again, and have plenty a dreams for the future of my little corner of the internet. I'm looking forward to my new found free time, and the possibility of posting 3x/wk. in the near future. Working on the blog has become something so near and dear to my heart, and I'm going to continue full force with my newfound passion.

This first outfit post is just a basic comfy look that I put together quickly to go outside and film my little brother (he's really into movie making now). I've been giving these leggings plenty of love lately, and will probably continue to do so until the weather allows me to drown in pretty florals and summery dresses. I'm beyond excited for what is to come this summer! Stay tuned!

Thank you for stopping by!

Out of every single outfit I've ever posted, I can truly say this is as me as it gets. The color scheme, the mix between mall pieces and thrift store pieces, the comfort aspect, this outfit is everything I love about clothes. Back in middle school/first half of high school, 3/4 of my wardrobe was full of thrifted gems! I miss the days when people were impressed with my (read: my mother's) mad thrifting skills, and sometimes wish I wasn't so addicted to the mall setting.

This jacket is one of my all-time favorites- a versatile piece, which can be dressed down or up (as can be seen here). It even came with a skirt, so I'll definitely be wearing it in other combinations in the future. At the beginning of every month, my local thrift store has an offer where you can fill an entire large brown paper bag with whatever items you can fit in for $5. This little beauty occupied about 1/1000 of the bag, so I probably paid around 25 cents for it. What's not to love?

As always, thank you so much for stopping by :)
