Hi, everyone!
I stand here today to bring you another abnormally short post from my new series called "It's only the 3rd day of school and Ada is already burnt out." 'Tis a series involving a lot of drama and excitement--- just kidding. What I'm really trying to say is that it involves a lot of sleep deprivation, overpriced textbooks, and mad amounts of dry shampoo.
Thanks for hanging in there with me, watching it all unfold!
Hi there! Today's outfit post is just going to be really short and sweet. After helping my parents pack their moving truck from 9 a.m. till about 4 p.m., I am exhausted beyond reasonable doubt. Carrying boxes constantly from the 2nd floor for many hours straight is definitely as athletic as I've gotten all summer, and that's sad. Therefore, I'm going to be changing my game up pretty soon.
Once June is over and I'm all cozy in our new Texas home, I'll be restarting the healthy habits that I seemed to have abandoned this past semester. Not being depressed anymore was a great start towards getting my crap together, but now it's time to focus on getting as healthy as I can before school starts up again. It only takes a month to form a healthy habit, so once it's there, it'll hopefully remain throughout the school year.
Well, I guess my post wasn't so short and sweet after all. Alas, my aching muscles demand rest, and I will happily oblige.
Slowly, but surely, the weather is becoming bearable and totally appropriate for cute, cheap Forever21 peplum dresses. Throw in a $2 garage sale'd Tommy Hilfiger bag, and you're golden (or rather, oranged). I'm beyond excited for all the prospective outfit combinations that come with the sunny (but windy) weather. Here's to a summer of prints and dresses and shorts and beach bumming. Hope everyone is having a lovely beginning of summer break!
I purchased this dress a few years back, mostly because it was just $5. I've only worn it twice throughout the years, but as I grow older, the dress grows on me. I see this dress as being an All-American girl style, with the gingham print and cute bow detail. Since the dress is so print-heavy, it was balanced out by classic colors for all the accessories. For fall and winter, I would add regular black tights and a skintight black turtleneck for a cozier look. I can't wait to style this dress as winter approaches!
